Marijuana keeps strokes away!

"A bud a day will keep the stroke away!"

Now we all know that marijuana has great health effects yet it is still not legalized. In this video this doctor advocates EATING not SMOKING a bud a day to keep the stroke away. I don't know if any of you have tried that, but from friends I do hear it may give you a stomach and and will definitely not get you high. They have tested this on rats but have not tested on humans yet.

Check out this video! Just one more reason why marijuana should be legalized.

Smoke on fellow stoners!

Check out this lineup there's way too many awesome artists too even count. I don't know if I will be going because it is the week before my finals week -_- but hopefully maybe I can make it to one night :D.

out of control troll

This guy is bad!! WOW. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS GUY! I guess this is how they troll people in Somali. BUT LOL at him catching the guy watching porn that part wasn't bad until he chuckled like a troll. I think they walked into some ghetto ass 7-eleven at like 1:08 that place looked so ghetto and they were all chilin there. Probably just a 7-eleven for fried chicken and watermelons. @ 2:04 that guy almost cause havoc by throwing a chair then some real chaos might have started.

Trolling?

Above and Beyond Part 1 : Their Names

Above and Beyond, my favorite trance group and my favorite anything electronic music genre group. I can listen to their music any time, while relax, sleep, doing homework, and when they DJ their music lives in clubs or any sets. Their podcast Trance Around The World with Above and Beyond is my favorite podcast and I have listened to many of their 418 *as of March 30, 2012* casts. Always enjoyable and awesome.

Honestly there is just so much to write about these three so for this post I am only going to write just general information about them (I am going to write about them in separate posts) and hopefully you take a moment and listen to their music and can enjoy it as much as I and people all over the world do. I suggest you take a listen to their epic TATW #415 that won BBC Radio's Essential mix in 2011 and they also won in 2010. It is a replay of their 2011 essential mix with "spoken word" here's a mixcloud link to it

Trance Around the World with Above and Beyond #415 BBC Radio 2011 Essential mix winner

This group was formed ten years ago in 2000 with members Jono Grant, Tony McGuiness and Paavo Siljamaki.

*edit: hmm i copy pasted something and it whited out their names are Jono Grant, Tony McGuiness and Paavo Silijamaki.

They formed their own record label called Anjunabeats, they also formed Anjunadigital and Anjunadeep which release different remixes and sounds of their songs which I will most likely write about in the future. To date Anjunabeats is on Volume 9 I haven't listened to all of them, mostly the earlier ones, but I do really enjoy the newer ones. And they released three albums but they released one album titled Sirens of the Sea as OceanLabs which is just Jono Tony and Paavo with the vocalist they signed named Justine Suissa.

I am actually going to see them live at The Shrine in LA this coming May and am really excited :)
I will continue writing about Above and Beyond very soon! Thanks for reading!

NorCal vs SoCal Raves

This weekend I went to etd pop and it was fun I had a great time but there were noticeable differences between the two areas, after all southern California is a much different place than northern California. ETD Popsicle 2012 was held at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. The first very noticeable difference is in the people, there were many many more Asians but that really wasn't too noticeable. But the energy and feel of the crowd was much more different. In nor Cal it seems like people are a lot more mellow and don't rage as hard as soCal crowds. It isn't a bad thing because in soCal it seems that people get way too fucked up on drugs and  there are a ton of people on the floor just fucked up. But really those two were the only big differences and it felt like just another rave at the end.

I did also notice that Skills event has very loose security. There were cops walking around the event during the whole thing and they just seemed to turn a blind eye to basically everything more so than Insomniac events. They hardly even frisked me and anyone could have gotten anything through I would honestly not have been surprised if some people were able to take in weapons and some other big things.

Oh and there was WAY MORE dubstep! Too much dubstep for my taste I do like to listen to dubstep at raves and rage every now and then while the DJ spins dubstep but it seems like Dash Berlin played mostly dubstep and so did Benny Benassi which is definitely not their styles.

But all in all I had fun at ETD Popsicle 2012 and would recommend anyone to go.

And for my favorite song of the night! Armin van Buuren - Not giving up on love (Dash Berlin's 4AM remix)
